VAMP RACING

We have made tentative arrangements with US 36 Raceway at Osborne, MO to run our Heads Up Series for 2012.This would be based on a track rental so it would just be for the VAMP Series.  All of the races here at this point would be on Friday evenings.  This may be a hardship for some, but we have no other choices.  We are cancelling both Heartland Park Races.  We will race at Wichita on June 23rd as scheduled.  We will also race at MO KAN on October 20th.  We will convert all of the indexes at US 36 Raceway to 1/8th mile time.  We are looking for a possibility of 4 races at US 36.  I would personally like to thank Mike Franks and family for giving us the opportunity to complete our 10th year season.  I would suggest that everyone check out US 36 Raceway.  I think it will fit the VAMP Series.  The hardships of traveling and lack of sign ups at this time gave us no other option.  This would be our home track and I think all will like this facility.  I’m still working out the details with the Franks.  Our first race will be Friday evening June 1st.  We will try to start later in the evening to accomodate people traveling.  We will complete the schedule in the near future.

June 1st  Gates open at 4:00pm

Lanes open at 6:00pm   We will start qualifying for the juniors first.   We will try to get in 3 sessions of qualifying  for the VAMP cars, as time allows.  We will make every effort to include anyone arriving late, before eliminations.

Our indexes will be as follows:

10.0  Outlaw   6.40

11.0  Wild        7.10

12.0  Hot          7.70

13.0  Modified 8.40

14.0 Factory     9.00

We will run quarter mile indexes at Wichita and MoKan.

We welcome all bracket racers to enter.  No electronics or throttle stops allowed.  Mufflers/lighting will be waived.
